Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs)
REITs are companies who earn rental income from commercial or residential property. They are generally exempt from Corporation Tax (CT) on income from their property rental business only. Also they are generally exempt from chargeable gains made on the disposal of assets of their property rental business only. A REIT may be a single company or a group of companies.
You must make a minimum investment of €2 million in any Irish REIT that is listed on the Irish Stock Exchange, for a period of at least three years Earn rental income in a tax efficient way and obtain residency for you and your family.
