Endowment
A minimum €500,000 (or €400,000 where 5 or more applications are received) philanthropic donation to a project which is of public benefit to the arts, sports, health, culture or education in Ireland.
If you choose the endowment option, you must make a donation of €500,000 in an approved project in Ireland. To qualify, the project must be beneficial to the public in the arts, sports, health, cultural, or educational field.
As a philanthropic donation with obvious public benefit, the contribution is non refundable.
If a group of five or more people choose to make a combined contributaion, a donation of €400,000 per person will be sufficient.
Clearly, since it is a donation, there is no financial gain to be made by the investor.
